Hannum, W.S.
A new drug store opened in Cherryvale, KS, in 1895, with W.S. Hannum at the helm. He was a real entrepreneur, as in 1901, he sold the drug store to W.T. Campbell of Severance, KS, invested in the new Cherryvale Automobile Company (building Cloughley cars as designed by R.H. Cloughley of Parsons, KS), and equiped his new real estate office with a fire-proof safe. The Cloughly was available with a 2 piston engine steam or internal combustion engine. I hope his real estate business lasted longer than the two year run (1902-1903) of the Cloughly.
